The project site located in Windsor, Ontario is looking for an organized, detail-oriented and professional
Site Clerk to join the project team for an
eleven (11) month contract.


SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:


Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Site Clerk will be responsible for coordinating administrative site services such as purchasing, payroll input, records control and other administrative responsibilities related to the project.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Administers site operating practices such as record keeping systems, forms control, office layout and payroll input system
  • Coordinates collection and preparation of project related records and reports
  • Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities
  • Performs variety of clerical duties using a variety of different systems or procedures
  • Copies data
  • Tabulates and posts data in record books
  • Records and files service and change orders
  • Gives information to and receives information from customers, suppliers, project managers
  • Prepares site supply inventory and coordinates site supplies purchase
  • Operates office equipment and machinery such as computing equipment, fax equipment, photocopy equipment
  • Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence and prepare outgoing mail
  • Greets construction site visitors
  • On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having and impact on people, costs and/or quality of service
  • Ensures responsibilities and accountabilities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with E.S. Fox Ltd. safety policy/procedures, ISO 18001 standards and OHSA requirements.
  • Ensures that environmental aspects within the scope of responsibility are adhered to pursuant to ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Performs such other and reasonable duties or responsibilities as may be required to maintain an effectively run site office

KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Post-Secondary education in Administration preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:


  • 3+ years of previous reception, or administrative experience preferred
  • Construction industry experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Demonstrated ability to be productive in a construction or industrial work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Detailoriented, accurate and thorough
  • Ability to multitask
