Position:
HR Administrative Support
Location:
Montreal, Quebec orBrampton, Ontario
Reports to:
Director Human Resources
Summary
Critical skills for this position include strong professional discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality, strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organization and time management skills, and ability to work efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supporting the HR Department with daytoday administrative needs and helping navigate the HR needs involved during business changes by taking ownership of defined tasks.
- Complete and coordinate the administration, tracking, and auditing of documentation and information involved in recruitment and onboarding.
- Drafting and reviewing a variety of employment letters.
- Building and editing HR materials which may include templates, tools, and training resources in order to improve overall efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience.
- Pulling employee personnel files as needed and supporting HR audits.
- Daily management of the general HR level 1 enquiries where appropriate.
- Keeping up to date with current HR trends, best practices, and legislation changes in the provinces we operate in.
- Work closely with payroll to maintain employee data
- Follow up on employee leave of absence and workplace incidents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or any other relevant formal education or work experience.
- Minimum of two to three years in a similar role within an HR team
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including an intermediate level of Excel
- Bilingual (oral and written) in both French and English languages
- Experience supporting a midsized company operating in multiple Canadian provinces is an asset.
- Functional knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce is a strong asset, but not required.

- Attention to customer service and willingness to support the team where needed, even if a request is outside of normal job duties on occasion.

- Responsable de soutenir le service des Ressources Humaines en gérant des tâches administratives RH.
- Responsable de la coordination administrative, le suivi et l'audit de la documentation dans le cadre du processus de recrutement et l'intégration (onboarding).
- Rédiger et faire le contrôle de la qualité de diverses lettres d'emploi.
- Rédiger de la correspondance au nom de l'équipe des RH, y compris des lettres, des courriels, des notes de service, des politiques, des procédures, des instructions de processus, des résumés d'information, des propositions, etc., et ce, au besoin.
- Tenir à jour le matériel RH tel que les outils et la formation afin d'améliorer l'efficience, l'efficacité et l'expérience utilisateur.
- Gérer les dossiers du personnel et effectuer les vérifications ainsi que le contrôle de la qualité selon les normes établis.
- Gestion quotidienne des enquêtes générales de niveau 1, le cas échéant.
- Se tenir au courant des tendances actuelles en matière de RH, des bonnes pratiques et des changements législatifs dans les provinces où nous opérons.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec la paie pour maintenir les données des employés
- Assurer le suivi des congés des employés et des incidents en milieu de travail.
- Autres tâches assignées.
Expérience et qualifications
- Baccalauréat en ressources humaines ou toute autre éducation ou expérience pertinente
- Minimum de trois (3) ans dans un rôle similaire au sein d'une équipe rh
- Excellente connaissance de la suite Microsoft Office, y compris un niveau intermé
