    Operations Tier 2 On-Site Technician

    The Managed Services team at WBM is currently supporting many of Western Canada's leading companies and our team growing. In this role you would be responsible for on-site IT operations support for one of our strategic customers. This means that you will work with end users in person and remotely to resolve any number of issues that they are having. You would be responsible for helping the user with anything required to get them back up and working productively.

  • Education and Experience

  • 5-7 years IT experience, or 2 years at a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Great customer service skills
  • O365 skills and experience
  • Networking knowledge
  • Server hardware experience
  • Virtualization experience
  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Certifications such as Network+, Security+, Server+ are an asset
  • Certifications such as MS-900 & AZ-900 are an asset

  • Location and Hours of Work

    The position is based in Saskatoon and requires travel to a Northern Saskatchewan Mine Site on a variable schedule and occasional travel to Vancouver. Travel, accommodations, and meals are provided.

    Hours are generally 0730 to 1800. With two 30min unpaid breaks, working 9.5hours/day.

    2-week on / 2-week off rotation

    Flights are Saskatoon to La Loche plus the 2-3hr drive to get to Site. Flights are every 2 weeks throughout the winter, generally on Thursdays.
