- Current Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
2. Graduate of an approved School of Occupational Therapy
3. Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in the rehabilitation care of clients with acquired brain injuries
4. Demonstrated ability to provide assessment and treatment interventions for clients with perception, cognition and motor skills problems in their home and/or community
5. Extensive knowledge and understanding of manual wheelchair seating and bed positioning, with an understanding of funding sources
6. Demonstrated ability in program evaluation, quality assurance and research
7. Demonstrated leadership ability
8. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
9. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle preferred

Unit Summary
The new Regional Rehabilitation Centre's B3 South , Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit is a 16 bed inpatient unit for patients post brain injury admitted for rehabilitation and community re-integration. The unit provides rehabilitation for adults with significant cognitive and physical needs. The emphasis is on improving the quality of life for patients and their families. Position SummaryThe Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision of OT services to clients with acquired brain injuries.
