Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols. Support patient intake processes by verifying prescriptions, updating records, and managing documentation efficiently. Follow strict medical terminology standards and hospital procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Implement proper aseptic techniques during medication preparation to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
Requirements
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar pharmacy support role is highly preferred. Kroll Knowledge is a must. Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration processes. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care and clear communication. Ability to work effectively in acute care settings, managing intake procedures accurately. Certification or training in pharmacy technician programs is a plus; however, motivated candidates eager to learn are encouraged to apply. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
