Job Description:


Reporting to the Director, Business Analytics, the Manager, Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics, will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the analysis and business process development related to MLSE's Fans and customers, to create insights to build fan experiences, leading the Analytics team to develop and drive our machine learning roadmap to solve complex business problems.

This team will also develop and maintain data pipelines to improve workflows and automate processes wherever possible.


The ideal leader has a passion for data, a proven background in Machine Learning, Data Engineering and a demonstrable record of developing high-performance teams to use data and drive business decisions in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of analysts who support the reporting and advanced analytics for all collaborators including operations, marketing and digital products
  • Establish and prioritize the team's data analysis, statistical modelling, and reporting activities to help develop business strategies and drive databased decisionmaking across the organization.
  • Develop and implement machine learning best practices and standards.
  • Evaluate and implement new machinelearning techniques, tools, and frameworks.
  • Define and supervise key performance metrics for machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Use Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and other Business Intelligence tools to craft and build executive, sales, marketing, and operational dashboards that provide key insights and performance metrics.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for initiatives, products, and services, and supervise the design and delivery of reports and insights to key collaborators.
  • Collect, transform, and analyze data from traditional data warehouses, big data ecosystems, and cloud data warehouses to produce critical data for business analyst executives and sales, marketing, and operational leaders.
  • Conduct indepth analyses using traditional and sophisticated methods across various data sources and topic areas, including ticketing, digital and social media, retail, and food & beverage.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure data quality and consistency, and to identify and address issues as they arise.
  • Perform business requirements and project management responsibilities as the need arises.

Qualifications:


  • Confirmed years of handson business intelligence and machine learning experience within a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems is an asset
  • Strong technical data capabilities, advanced working knowledge of SQL, SAS, and databases, and the ability to write complex SQL statements to build data tables and produce reports.
  • Experience with ETL development, data modeling, data warehousing, and databases in a business environment with largescale, sophisticated datasets.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of modeling techniques, and handson statistical modeling (such as regression modeling, a/b testing, significance testing, etc.) is ideal.
  • Solid project management skills, with a track record of handling complex projects and driving results in a fastpaced environment
  • Superb communication skills
