Job description:
Are you a digital marketing whiz who loves digging into metrics? Are you as comfortable working on the back end of a website as you are creating a Reel? Do you have exceptional project management and organizational skills?
Reporting to the Associate Director, Foundation Marketing, the Marketing and Digital Specialist's primary focus is to support the digital marketing and communications work of William Osler Health System Foundation (Osler Foundation).
The Marketing and Digital Specialist plays a key role in developing and maintaining Osler Foundation's digital presence, with a focus on website management and development.
They are responsible for creating custom sub-branded microsites and donation pages, managing the organization's main website, and overseeing any digital redesign initiatives to meet Osler Foundation's objectives.
Their work is crucial in driving engagement, supporting signature events, and maximizing fundraising initiatives through digital channels.Accountabilities:
- Digital communications and website management (75%)
- Develops and maintains custom subbranded microsites and donation pages to drive engagement and support signature events, thirdparty events and various fundraising initiatives
- Manages the development, maintenance and improvement of Osler Foundation's website,
: - Creates and shares social media content, including digital ads and other marketing pieces, to strengthen the Osler Foundation brand and to support various fundraising channels like events, community giving and direct mail
- Analyzes and reports on campaign analytics, conversions and results to inform future strategies and plans
- Ensures digital ad accounts are effectively managed and reflective of current Foundation marketing activities
- Leads development and maintenance of digital communications calendar
- Oversee any digital redesign initiatives to meet Osler Foundation objectives
- Marketing and communications (25%)
- Oversees the coordination and creation of all creative assets for Osler Foundation signature events
- Ensures Osler Foundation's adherence to brand identity and guidelines
- Oversees development and production of marketing collateral to support fundraising initiatives
- Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to support multiple projects including campaigns and special events
- Operates within the culture and core values of the organization
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet the overall goals and objectives of Osler Foundation
Job qualifications:
- College diploma or university degree in communications, digital communications, marketing, journalism, fundraising or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience as a communications and marketing professional, preferably in a nonprofit or health care environment
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient use of various content management systems
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, native social analytics), including the ability to analyze online donor trends
- Experience using Luminate Online a definite asset
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple and changing demands
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and be selfmotivated in a highpressure and demanding work environment
