Description

The company is currently seeking a Service Technician with knowledge of robotics, high definition plasma and advanced servo systems to join a team of experienced professionals located at our office in Hamilton, ON.

The full time position will include global machine commissioning, customer training and on-going customer support.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Remote global support of PythonX equipment
Periodic Weekend/Overnight oncall support as scheduled
Onsite commissioning and Operator training for new PythonX installations
Onsite Service and Preventative Maintenance as required
Setup, Calibration and Quality review of completed production units prior to shipment
Complete Quotes and Sales Orders for spare parts and consumables
To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Service Manager in a timely and professional manner

Qualification Requirements:

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A second language is an asset
Related University degree, postsecondary diploma or skilled trade certificate
Strong mechanical, electrical and computer troubleshoot skills as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong computer proficiency. Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD an asset
Commitment to travel throughout the course of the year
Experience and/or knowledge in the steel fabrication industry and related software design packages is an asset
Experience and/or knowledge of plasma cutting processes is an asset
Valid Canadian drivers licence

Valid Passport and ability to travel internationally is required ( travel up to 30% )
