Job Overview:
Home Aesthetics is a leader in home decor and furnishing. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our sourcing team as an Assistant Buyer.
As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the buying team in sourcing, selecting, and purchasing products for our company.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the retail industry and has strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the buying team in identifying trends, analyzing market data, and conducting competitive research
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and inventory levels
- Monitor product performance and make recommendations for assortment adjustments
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams such as merchandising, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless execution of buying strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a buying or procurement role is preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
-Ability to read, write and speak Mandarin is highly preferred
