Quadra Chemicals seeks a Quality Audit Specialist with over three years of industry experience to support the entire regulatory, supplier and corporate audit program.

This is a new role in our focused and proactive Compliance Assurance team.

The Audit Specialist will support the Quality Audit Manager with the internal and external audit processes and programs for all Quadra's facilities through Canada and the United States.


Reporting to the Quality Audit Manager, you will work closely with the quality team to ensure the integration and optimization of audit and verification programs and processes.

You will also be expected to ensure continued high customer and supplier satisfaction and to accelerate new business growth opportunities.


Some of your responsibilities as a Quality Audit Specialist include:

  • Support the overall regulatory, vendor and corporate audit program through the planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up of audits of external/internal GMP operations and GMP suppliers
  • Facilitates site preparations and leads auditing executions for client audits and regulatory health authority inspections
  • Lead vendor audits and manage any resulting issue resolution or remediation of any new or existing supplier
  • Performed internal audits, prepared internal audit reports, and met with department heads to review report findings to determine root cause and corrective action
  • Coaching internal audit SME's and supporting the development of appropriate corrective actions
  • Support the management audit observations and audit CAPA's
  • Actively contribute to the development of continuous monitoring and continuous assurance leveraging data analytics
  • Perform data entry, by creating internal reports and metrics
  • Independently perform audits
  • Create good relationship with suppliers and customers
  • Other duties as assigned

What will it take to succeed in this role?

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is required (for example, pharmacy, chemistry, biology, engineering, or a related discipline)
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of manufacturing processes, operations and daytoday activities
  • Ability to ask questions in a proactive way to create a smooth audit process internally
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the US 40 to 50% of the time (including overnight travel), having a valid passport & a valid driver's licence is a necessity
  • Minimum of 35 years of proven experience in conducting quality audits
  • Experience with Health Canada, CFIA, FDA, ISO compliances and a strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, BRCGS, and Regulatory standard is an asset
  • Lead audit training, considered an asset
  • Experience working in an advanced computer environment (Tracegains and Salesforce would be and asset)
  • Strong data entry and data analytics knowledge
  • Ability to work well independently and strong organization skills
  • Possesses strong relationshipbuilding abilities extends both internally across various functions and externally with auditors, customers, suppliers, showcasing excellent people skills
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and prioritize work assignments as needed to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate in both in English and French is preferred
  • Have a positive, solutionoriented attitude
