Description
Bitcoin Central ), a Nelson, BC based company, is seeking a Nelson, BC based independent contractor to maintain our province-wide fleet of Bitcoin ATMs and install new Bitcoin ATMs in British Columbia and Alberta.
The successful applicant must have the following:
A reliable vehicle capable of traveling long distances – preferably a truck or van capable of transporting machines and tools
The ability to drive long distances
– A clean driving record/no criminal history and the willingness to complete a background check
The ability to lift at least 100 lbs and safely maneuver machines that weigh more than this.
Some experience with trades and proficiency with working with hand and power tools
A basic level of proficiency in working with computers and computer networks
Punctuality and the ability to work to a schedule
Excellent communication skills
The ability to represent our company positively in a diverse set of social environments
A high degree of autonomy and trustworthiness
The ability to problem solve and work to deadlines under time constraints
A strong work ethic and the awareness to complete jobs fully without supervision
A flexible schedule and the ability to travel to work sites as needed (sometimes overnight)
The immediate job is to maintain our fleet of bitcoin ATMs and install new ones. In the future there are also opportunities to work with Bitcoin Central on our SEO, maintaining and updating our Google Business listings and social media accounts. No experience in social media or SEO is required – however this is another opportunity with our company should you be interested.
Salary and benefits include the following:
hourly wage for work onsite
Hourly rate for driving to and from work sites
Payment for kilometres driven to and from work sites
Daily stipend for food and reimbursement for accommodation when travelling for work overnight.
