    Optis Consulting isactively seeking a Technical Consultant to join their Vancouver, Toronto & Calgary team .Working closely with the Project Manager, theSenior Technical Consultant will serve as the first point of contact betweentechnical clients integrating our partners' solutions (SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP,Celonis and/or Ivalua) with their ERP and/or other internal and 3rd partysystems.The Technical Consultant willbe responsible for developing technology solutions and mapping Optis customers'business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are inline with the enterprise architectural plan.As a Technical Consultant, you will provide input to the strategicdirection of technology investments to assist Optis customers in thedevelopment of the enterprise architecture and maximize their return ontechnology investment.

They must be logical thinkers, have a strongability to collaborate as part of a team and manage ambiguous or uncertainsituations.They must have exceptionalcommunication skills, be adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.

    Responsibilities

    • Willbe responsible to develop solutions for clients using service-orientedarchitecture patterns.
    • Manageand implement an API-led strategy to connect data and applications with APIs.
    • Defineand gather requirements and conduct design sessions for technical solutions.
    • Owncomplete lifecycle of delivery including architecture, design, development,test, and documentation of integration, custom development, and data migrationsolutions for business applications in the SaaS and other ERP systems
    • Responsiblefor defining and documenting Integration architecture, capturing, anddocumenting non-functional (architectural) requirements, preparing estimates,and defining technical solutions
    • Estimatethe tasks and resources required to design, build, and test the code.
    • Developnew code or existing code for solution development/enhancement.
    • Maintaina sharp focus on system reliability and ensure overall solution architecturecan gracefully handle upstream and downstream system failures.
    • Providein-depth expertise in the discipline of integration architecture, data sources,security, technical design, programming, testing, and deployment.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science orequivalent preferred.
    • Intermediate skillsin developingintegrationswith Web Services, XML, JSON, SQL and or other integrationtechnologies are mandatory.
    • Experience facilitating application integrationarchitecture discussions and workshops.
    • Proven experience in developing integrationsusingREST API, SOAP Web Services and other integration architectures.
    • Experience with SAP Ariba , Coupa, GEP, Celonis and/or Ivalua Procurementsolutions is preferred.
    • Additional experience using other ETL tools ispreferred.
    • Should have 3+ years of experience as anIntegration Architect or Lead Technical Architect capacity in an Agile/ Hybriddevelopment environment for transformational programs in the Source-to-PayPrograms or equivalent
    • Proven skills as a team member, team lead orproject manager on at least three full life cycle implementation
    • Functionalknowledge of Procurement business processes is preferred.
    • Technicalaptitude and comfort in understanding web-based applications and the SaaS, PaaSand IaaS Cloud models, and Integration concepts as well as application of thesetechnologies in the enterprise environment.
    • Highlyorganized with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
    • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.
    • Experiencepresenting a clear and concise technical narrative.
    • ERPKnowledge – SAP / PeopleSoft / ORACLE or others is preferred.

    • Abilityto travel within Canada and the United States.
    • Abilityto travel up to 35% of your time
