    This Pharma Quality Assurance Specialist Position Features:

    • Great Pay between $60K to $70K
    Shift: 8AM -4PM Monday to Friday


    POSITION OVERVIEW:
    The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations, acting as a key liaison between production, R&D (Research and Development, regulatory affairs, and external stakeholders such as suppliers and regulatory bodies.

    The responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Specialist are foundational to our commitment to producing high-quality food and natural health products that not only meet but exceed both consumer expectations and regulatory standards.


    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Implementation and Maintenance of Quality Assurance Systems
    • Incorporating HACCP Principles
    • Quality Audits and Inspections
    • Product Testing and Certification
    • Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
    • Quality Integration in Product Development
    • Management of Non-Conformance and Customer Complaints
    • Training and Development
    • Regulatory and Industry Trends Monitoring

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality assurance role within the food and/or natural health product manufacturing industry.
    • Strong working knowledge of Canadian regulations for food and natural health products, including NHP Regulations, CFIA requirements, and international standards that affect exports.
    • Experience with GMP, GLP, HACCP, and other quality assurance systems.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Ability to excel within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adept at adapting to shifting priorities, working with strict deadlines and working under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management software systems.
