Description
We are hiring owner-operators for our peak-season (mid-November to end of December). This contract is a great opportunity to make good money over the holiday season.

  • Have their own vehicle (large SUV, cargo van or minivan in good working condition with no rust) with proper courier insurance including cargo insurance
  • Be professional and have excellent customer service skills
  • Have basic knowledge of Edmonton's neighborhoods, roads, and surrounding areas
  • Pay attention to detail, maintain a high level of organization, and manage the pressure of a busy environment
  • Be able to complete deliveries in a condensed area each day
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

We will also require:


  • Recent (within the past 3 months) criminal record check and driver's abstract

Additional Information:


  • Training to take place prior to start date.
  • Compensation is based on number of deliveries completed.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal


Salary:
Up to $400.00 per day


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
Drivers work independently in their own vehicles. Social distancing is encouraged while loading and unloading.


Experience:

- delivery driver/courier: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Alberta driver's licence (required)
