    Description

    Duties

  • Preparing rope for orders i.e.: winding rope onto spools, into hanks and placing product in boxes etc.
  • Coating of rope
  • Communicating with splicing when products need to be spliced
  • Inspecting rope as it comes through for flaws and flag them to a manager
  • Assure accurate labeling of finished goods
  • Follow jobs closely to ensure all steps and specifications are met
  • Stocking of rope kept for inventory

  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Follow instructions from supervisor
  • Work well with others and
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Honesty and attention to detail
  • Comfort with computers
  • Fluent in English, bilingualism (French / English) an asset
