Russel Metals is looking for an
Inside Sales Representative to join our
Winnipeg North sales team with a united sense of purpose.
Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Representative, you have a disciplined mentality, a passion for customer service, and will support the branch business by driving profitable sales growth and customer service through understanding customer needs and sharing your knowledge and experience with others.
As an Inside Sales Representative you will:
- Maintain and grow sales & market share consistent with the business plan as developed in conjunction with the Sales Manager. This requires a focus on managing your time effectively with the variety of product categories as well as processing opportunities.
- Identify and maximize all sales and market development opportunities for services we offer and strengthen customer relations.
- Further develop new and existing business through creative approaches such as presentations, product and program offerings, plant tours, etc.
- Develop and maintain existing and prospective customer relationships and act as a liaison between the customer and sales team, operations, production, shipping etc.
- Develop sales opportunities and find new leads through methods such as cold calling, and face to face meetings with the Outside Sales Rep and/or Sales Manager.
- Communicate and collaborate with the leadership team to ensure sufficient product is available to meet customer and branch requirements.
- Assist in managing inventory by ensuring any dedicated product brought in for customers has senior management support and it's managed in accordance with agreed upon terms with the customer.
You and Your Experience
- Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline preferred.
- 35 years of sales experience.
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with individuals from all levels of a company.
- Experience moving contracts and programs throughout all levels of a company.
- Project Management experience is considered an asset.
- Experience within a fastpaced environment, managing competing priorities and time managing within that environment.
Salary Range:
$ $ commission
