The Role:


As a Microsoft Systems Specialist at KGS Group your primary duty will be to administer the delivery of the organization's internal Microsoft Active Directory based authentication and authorization platform as well as to provide specialist knowledge of our MS 365 cloud-based productivity services.


Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Produce, implement, and support enterpriselevel designs for authentication, authorization, identity provisioning, auditing, and monitoring solutions.
  • Manage user identities and credentials, including groups and permissions for KGS Group's enterprise Active Directory environment.
  • Planning, managing, and contributing to discussions regarding KGS Microsoft servers, including AD and MS 365 environments.
  • Incidents response planning.
  • Provide training as required.

About You:


  • Certification or comparable experience of Active Directory architecture and management.
  • Certification or comparable experience of MS 365 Administration.
  • Indepth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices including vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response and security policy creation.
  • Experience working with authentication services, user lifecycle and policy management.
  • Indepth knowledge of creation, administrating, and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Experience with Windows Server 2019, 202
  • Good understanding of Azure AD, AD Connect and ADFS.
  • Good working knowledge of Hyper-V data center virtualization.
  • Experience with Synology or other NAS technologies would be an asset.
  • Organizational skills, ability to manage time and resources.
  • Ability to travel to any of our regional offices in Canada or the United States.
