Position Summary:


The specific tasks of the Administrator role will vary depending on the focus - Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or Payroll.

However, the core objectives of this role are common - address obligations to our customers, vendors, and employees, identify and address data and process discrepancies (problem solving), report on the status of AR, AP or Payroll on an ongoing or ad hoc basis, maintain relevant internal accounting databases, reconcile relevant financial statement accounts, actively participate in the financial close process, and ensure controls are understood and administered correctly.

Administrators will be responsible for staying current on internal and external policy and regulatory matters to ensure AR, AP and Payroll processing is accurate and compliant.

  • Process daily, weekly, monthly and annual tasks to meet obligations to our customers, vendors and employees.

  • Comprehensive understanding and maintenance of relevant internal control requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Reconcile related financial statement accounts in an accurate and timely manner, and in compliance with policy.
  • Report on the status of Receivables, Payables and Payroll information as needed.
  • Actively participate in the financial close process.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests and report requirements as needed

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in an accounting administrator role within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred) Proficiency working in ERP systems, familiarity with Microsoft D365 preferred
  • Experience working in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of office equipment (copier, scanner, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving skills with an attention to detail and process
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize work
  • High integrity and ethical standards, and an ability to handle confidential information
