THE ROLE

Under the direction of the Fitness & Sports Manager, the Facilities Coordinator plans and coordinates the maintenance, repair or construction of local facilities and fitness trails and schedules the use of recreation facilities.

They establish and maintain facilities access and control procedures as well as a control system for Environment/Health and Safety and maintenance of building.

The Facilities Coordinator supervises employees and prepares their work schedules, as required, and completes all administrative tasks related to the maintenance and upgrade of facilities.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**High school diploma AND several years of experience in facilities management or in a related field.


Experience
In coordinating the maintenance and repair of facilities and related equipment

In facilities maintenance and repair procedures

In project management

In budget administration

In personnel administration


Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset
