Financial Controller - Woodstock, Canada - Innocore Sales & Marketing Inc.

Description

Innocore, a leading manufacturer of disinfectant wipes for the away-from-home market has an immediate need for a Financial Controller.

This role will report directly to the President and will collaborate with senior leadership with an appreciation for teamwork, a love for multitasking, a high sense of urgency, and strong career goals.

With continued growth, we are looking for a leader that can be promoted to CFO.


Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee various accounting operations
• Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions
• Monthend and yearend close process
• Manage financial transactions and reporting
• Create and manage budgeting and forecasting
• Produce financial statements as requested
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Manage and comply with federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Working with our accounting firm
• Work with financial institutions
• Work with insurance providers
• Review and mitigate risk analysis
• Develop KPI's
• Understand US Tax laws

Qualifications & Skills:

• Successfully completed Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• CPA, CGA or CMA designation Required
• 10+ years of Accounting experience
• 3+ years experience in Controller role in a manufacturing environment
• Previous ERP implementation a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Monthend, and Yearend Procedures
• Working knowledge of Dayforce Ceridian

$100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
