- What Is the Opportunity?
- The Travelers Canada Internship Program provides qualified students with an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience, receive valuable onthejob training and learn more about the property & casualty insurance industry. Interns receive challenging work assignments that add value and impact the organization.
- Complete challenging and meaningful work.
- Work alongside experienced professionals and get exposure to employees from different lines of business.
- Learn about the insurance industry, different lines of business, interact with a variety of talented leaders from the organization and more
- Partner with PI Underwriters and Underwriting Managers to establish support needs for new and in force policies.
- Manage policy documentation (i.e., policy change, endorsements, cancellations, broker record changes, letters of experience etc.).
- Ensure accurate and timely servicing of PI policies.
- Communicates with brokers and internal departments. (i.e., researches and resolves issues, responds to inquiries and questions).
- Provides administrative support and other related services as needed (e.g., input policy information into system).
- Participates in projects/assignments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- We are most interested in students who are serious about entering the insurance industry and who are excited about the prospect of making Personal Insurance Underwriting their future career choice.

- Business Administration
- Risk Management and Insurance
- Undergraduate students completing their 3rd or 4th year preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problemsolving skills
- Legally eligible to work in the Canada.
