Job Summary
Vac Aero's Quality Inspector will be responsible for hardness testing and dimensional inspection.
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Plant Manager.
- Support Production Planning and Quality.
- Ensure correct parts, quantity and test pieces are hardness tested and dimensionally inspected.
- Ensure paper work is filled out correctly.
- Calibrate equipment.
- Work 8 hour shifts 8 am to 4:30 pm Mon
- Fri.
- Follow internal quality and safety procedures.
- Wear PPE, safety boots, glasses, ear plugs (when required).
- Ability to lift on a regular basis.
- Drive Forklift.
- Operate overhead lifting devices.
- 5S Clean shop and yard.
- Ability to work in cold or hot work environment.
- Perform any tasks delegated by Supervisor.

Job Qualifications

Mandatory Police Background Check and financial check performed for Controlled Goods before permanent hire, clean Canadian criminal background preferred.
