Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced
310J Technician for our client in Bolton, ON. As a 310J Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.


Duties:


  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on trucks and trailers
  • Perform inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns
  • Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems
  • Keep track of parts inventory and order necessary supplies
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications:


  • Valid 310J license or equivalent certification
  • Previous experience working as a 310J Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of heavyduty truck and trailer systems
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing work orders
  • Strong communication skills

Shift:
Mon to Sat (8am to 6pm)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bolton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Service Technician: 3 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Truck-Trailer Service Technicians 310J License (preferred)
