    Description

Panorama is revolutionizing how boards of directors operate. We've moved past the "boring" reputation of governance to build a sleek, automated SaaS platform that helps leaders make better decisions through innovative technology. Building on our recent momentum, which includes winning the IMPACT Prize at Startupfest and being named one of the Top 20 Startup Revelations by Québec Tech, we are ready to grow our engineering team.

As the latest Full Stack Developer on the team, you won't just be completing tickets; you will be an architect of our product's evolution. You will join a tight-knit team of six as our seventh team member, where your influence will be felt across our entire stack from day one.

    Your everyday impact

    • Drive Product Evolution: Work closely with the founders and product team to brainstorm, spec, and build high-impact features that solve real-world problems for our expanding community of board directors.
    • Champion Engineering Excellence: You will play a key role in keeping our codebase healthy. You will identify patterns to reduce technical debt and ensure our system is robust enough to handle the enterprise-level governance data our users rely on every day.
    • Cultivate a Peer Culture: Through thoughtful PR reviews and collaborative technical discussions, you will share your expertise and help raise the collective bar for the engineering team.
    • Scale for Performance: As our user base grows, you will play a key role in evolving our architecture. You will evaluate and implement strategic improvements to our tech stack, ensuring we are using the most effective tools for our next phase of growth.
    • Maintain Trust & Security: You will help us navigate the complexities of SOC 2 compliance and data security, ensuring our users can continue to trust Panorama with their most sensitive information.

    How you think & work

    • You are a product-minded developer: You care deeply about quality, performance, and user experience. You don't just build to spec; you think about how your work impacts the end user.
    • You have a high bias for action: You are a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of projects. You focus on driving progress and finding solutions; shipping iteratively, ensuring alignment with the team while keeping momentum high.
    • You are an autonomous learner: You are curious and able to master new technologies quickly. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can pick up a new tool or framework and run with it.
    • You bring architectural maturity: You care deeply about performance, usability, and clean architecture. You have a solid understanding of software design principles and know how to balance speed with long-term maintainability.
    • You are a collaborator and eager to learn: You actively seek feedback, share your knowledge, and thrive in a "shared leadership" environment where every opinion counts and learning from one another is part of the culture.
    • You leverage AI tools to accelerate your delivery: You are proficient with tools like Copilot or Claude Code to boost your productivity and continuously improve how you work, while maintaining the foundational coding ability and critical thinking required to ensure high-quality, secure code.
