Duties and responsibilities
- Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customerservice standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Secures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems.
- Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; and reporting all issues to senior leadership immediately to avoid operational delays.
- Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by putting their team in a position to best achieve UPH in order to meet SLA expectations.
- This position will need to be trained and highly proficient to work in all warehouse
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Third Party Logistics experience a plus
- Highly effective supervisory skills
- Ability to analyze data, reporting skills and data entry management
- Dealing with complexity, deadlineoriented
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Management, equipment maintenance
- Must be able to direct and motivate others
- Microsoft Excel and Word experience
- Safety management
- Dependability
- Bilingual Spanish language preferable
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 1050lbs; occasionally, with team support, lift and/or move objects greater than 50 lbs.
