    We are looking for an Energy Conservation Financial Reporting Advisor to join our Energy Conservation Team. This role primarily provides support to Demand Side Management (DSM) budget and forecasting activities across all DSM programs, including the main support resource for Enbridge's DSM Operating Committee.

    This position also provides analysis of internal metrics used to prepare reports and recommendations to advise management of results of the DSM program.

    What you will do:

    • Facilitate monthly variance meetings involving manager-level and program delivery staff to support strategic decisions driving the effective management of the DSM budget (>$180M) and to maximize yearly DSM revenue
    • Develop and manage the reporting and analytical tools used to support and inform the Operating Committee
    • Advise managers, supervisors and program advisors on strategies to maximize results in the current year and in future periods through the use of scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and analytical modelling
    • Provide data and statistics for use by the Program Design and Sales groups in their review and development of DSM programs and annual sales forecasting process
    • Capture, summarize, and analyze quantitative and financial data for required DSM monthly variance reporting
    • Prepare and arrange year-end financial data of all DSM program offerings for the annual reporting of the DSM Program to the Ontario Energy Board (OEB)
    • Perform account reconciliations of the DSM variance financial accounts as well as prepare key journal entries made directly to these accounts
    • Support the development of volumetric forecasts and avoided costs calculations
    • Support DSM budget submissions included in Rates proceedings

    Who you are:

    • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics Degree (or similar educational experience) with four (4) plus years of related Energy Conservation or industry experience
    • High level of computer literacy and extremely proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Excel.
    • Strong quantitative skills; proficient in analyzing and manipulating data.
    • Sound judgement and critical thinking skills.
    • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), journal entries and ability to conduct financial analysis
    • Detail oriented with proven ability to manage multiple processes, handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
    • A self-starter who is driven and possesses strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, professional, cross-functional working environment.
