Responsibilities:


  • Assists in writing proposals and establishing financial budgets
  • Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)
  • Assists in the preparation of drawings, specifications and tender documents
  • Attends preconstruction meetings and document discussions
  • Reviews and reports on project mockups
  • Performs periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
  • Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)
  • Assists in small project management and coordination
  • Assists in building condition assessments, rehab, concrete restoration, and building enclosure related projects
  • Participates in continuing education
  • Performs various office related tasks

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus
  • General knowledge of Building Science principles or Building Envelope components is a plus
  • Experience as a Building Envelope Consultant and/or Trade Expert is a plus
  • Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong customer service commitment
  • Excellent communication and written skills in English
  • Professional attitude with a strong commitment to succeed
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
