Production Woodworker Job Description

The Production Woodworker is responsible for producing and finishing solid and veneered wood products using advanced machinery, hand tools, and sanding equipment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work.

This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where multitasking is essential. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in woodworking or manufacturing assembly operations.

• Beyond dependability punctuality good attendance the successful candidate must be able to take measurements read tape measures calipers micrometers input into HMI make adjustments to program operate power tools such as hand drills nail guns circular miter saws jigsaws etc
• Must be able to read Safety Data Sheets SDS sheets follow basic work instructions possess strong interpersonal organizational communication skills ability to work overtime when needed

In addition the following qualifications are preferred:
• Prior experience with safety protocols regulatory compliance WorkSafeBC guidelines
• Familiarity with blueprints or manufacturing drawings desired
• Previous production assembly machine operator background an asset
