About This Role

Under the general direction of Table Games, this position will be responsible for providing superior customer service and dealing Texas Hold'em Poker games precisely, efficiently and securely under all applicable policies and procedures.

Table Games Dealers must lead by example to create Great Experiences and Memories for all guests and colleagues

What you'll get to do

Deal Texas Hold'em Poker table games per department standards.
Creates an enjoyable and fun atmosphere, delivering exceptional experiences to internal and external guests.
Performs opening and closing procedures for tables.
Makes accurate chip exchanges and payouts.
Ensures that every bet is within the minimum and maximum table limits.
Maintains a steady game pace by efficiently handling cards, chips, cash and other equipment.
Communicates with Table Games Supervisor or above on table issues, including responsible beverage concerns, responsible gaming, violations of table rules or other issues.
Knows, understands and implements safe work practices and procedures.
Promotes Responsible Gaming.
Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, employees, vendors and regulators.
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations. Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) provisions, regulations, and internal health and safety policies and procedures.

**Minimum Qualifications

Must have experience as a Texas Hold'em Poker Dealer at a recognized gaming provider.
Holds a Category 2 gaming license.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, all shifts, and holidays.
Able to sit/stand for long periods.
Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High school diploma required.
Strong ability to follow policies, procedures and practices. Math skills (balancing, addition, and calculation) and manual dexterity (pitching, shuffling, riffling).

An assessment testing mathematic and dexterity skills will be administered as part of our recruitment process.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations

Maintains a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
