    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completed or enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of University working towards an Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Some robotics and PLC programming experience
  • Strong documentation, organizational & project management skills
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
  • Must have good organizational skills, be a self-starter, team player and an active listener
  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Trial coordination, data analysis, and follow up
  • Coordination of outside vendors (sub-contracted testing, processing of parts, supply of components, etc.)
  • Problem solving including root cause investigation, data analysis, and presentation
  • Assist in equipment design, build, installation, and commissioning
  • Assist in workcell layout and improvement projects
  • PLC, robot and HMI programming, implementation, training, and troubleshooting
  • Design, verification and maintenance of electrical schematics
  • Assist in setting up, maintaining programming, electrical components and schematic standards
  • Assist in proper maintenance of all programming software, application files and programming hardware
  • Responsible to improve equipment reliability and uptime related to automation and controls
  • Implementation of Continuous Improvement Ideas related to automation and robotics as assigned
  • Initiate and embrace company change
  • Maintain proper filing system to ensure all information is properly stored and easily retrieved Comply and participate in monthly Health & Safety Quiz
  • Provide Engineering support to other departments as directed by the Engineering Manager or designate
