Schedule:
Day time operating hours. Weekend and evening work as needed
Supervisor:

Compensation:
$20-$23 commensurate with experience
KPIs:
- Front desk wait time
- Minimal errors and zero major booking errors, payment reconciliation errors

Job Duties:
- Front desk and admin
b) Provide superior customer service and patient care
c) Book appointments accurately and appropriately
d) Monitor and report daily available appointments and report any overload to supervisor as appropriate
e) Respond and/or redirect all patient and visitor requests accordingly
f) Advise patients of relevant charges for practice services, accept payment and issue receipts
g) Ensure correspondence, reports, results etc. are filed electronically in correct patient record
h) Ensure reception and waiting areas are kept neat and tidy
i) Re-stock information brochure/business cards as appropriate
j) Answer incoming calls (private line) in a courteous and professional manner within 3 rings, ensuring calls are documented and redirected accordingly
l) Maintain practice dress code
m) Ensure that all patient interactions are dealt with confidentially and any confidential paperwork is dealt with in accordance with practice protocol
2. Team Lead
a) Train and mentor front desk peers to meet departmental objectives as a team
b) Use problem solving and professional conflict-resolution skills to address front desk issues as the first point of leadership
c) Provide updates and report KPI's to management on an ongoing basis to facilitate continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Min. 3 years of related experience utilizing OSCAR in a similar environment
- Positive attitude, pleasant and professional manner inperson, online and over the phone
- Professional & excellent English communication skills
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Related knowledge / experience / training in ophthalmology a strong asset
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to achieve desired results, comfortable leading teams
- Alignment with company values
- Available for weekend and evening shifts as needed
- Excellence in customer service
- Ability to maintain client and centre confidentiality
- Exceptional organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations in a calm manner

- Must be able to handle work volume fluctuations
- Certifications or licenses appropriate to the position

Working conditions:
- Computer use, sitting, screen use for extended periods

Salary:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour
