About the role
We are looking for an Oracle developer / architect to be part of a team working on the development of a software product used in aerospace certification and testing.
Responsibilities
- Backend development to support the frontend development with database architecture changes and PL/SQL code as required
- Maintain existing architecture and changes as needed
- Testing of existing and new architecture, and code (unit testing and frontend testing support)
- Seamless database version migration to support existing installations of the software package upgrade to new software releases
Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience developing and architecting databases for Oracle Databases (PL/SQL) (PostgreSQL experience a bonus)
- 3+ years Java JEE/J2EE development (experience using Tomcat desirable) for backend support
- Oracle DBA experience a definite asset (using RMAN for recovery, optimization / monitoring of database performance)
- Knowledge of configuration management systems (subversion a plus)
Communication
French & English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.

$41,791.11-$72,000.00 per year
