Corporate Development Officer - Keycafe, Vancouver

Responsibilities:

• Equity and

Debt Financing:
Lead efforts to secure funding through equity and debt instruments. This includes preparing and presenting pitches, negotiating terms, and closing deals with investors.

Keycafe's financials and track record are strong, so the activities will in large part be related to generating periodic liquidity for shareholders.

• Investor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors. Communicate financial performance, business strategy, and growth opportunities effectively.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, reseller agreements, and integration partnerships that align with Keycafe's growth objectives.
• Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, potential investment opportunities, and competitive threats.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for corporate growth and financial stability.
• Compliance and Reporting: Liaise with the finance team to develop financial and business reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate development, investor relations, or a similar role in a corporate setting.
• Proven track record of sourcing and security investor funding.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, equity financing, debt financing, and investment analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and business partners.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
