- The rate of pay will be $75K - $90K a year, dependent on experience
- This is a Full time, permanent position
- Generating drawings and implementation of automation projects
- Assisting in the identification and correction of inefficiencies to allow for continuous improvement in current practices and policies
- Leading a team of two Junior Engineers
- Programming CNC machinery through a variety of software programs
- Inputting data to ensure accurate tracking of materials used within production, and throughout the product lines
- Providing recommendations surrounding quality improvement for both processes and products
- Designing, building, and implementation of custom equipment and tooling
- 3-5 years' experience in an engineering technologist role
- Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechanically inclined, and willing to work hands on with equipment
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well within a team and a willingness to teach
- Experience in AutoCAD and/or Solidworks
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Lean 101 manufacturing practices
- Python programing experience an asset
- PLC programing experience an asset
