The Accounts Payable Coordinator is a key member of the Reconnect Finance team, responsible for the management of accounts payable (AP), associated month-end reporting and tasks, and completing special projects as assigned, within a goal-oriented organization.

Our services include supports for seniors, caregivers, and people living with mental health and addictions concerns. What You'll Do:

You will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Manage the SAP Concur purchase order and invoicing system
  • Ensure accurate processing of all AP transactions (invoices, employee expense reports, credit card statements, etc.).
  • Oversee and, where necessary, process vendor and employee payments in accordance with established deadlines
  • Import Concur data into the accounting system
  • Verify employee expenses reports in accordance with the organization's policies
  • Maintain organized vendor and employee AP files
  • Manage all vendor accounts and reconcile vendor statements
  • Respond to AP enquires from external and internal stakeholders
  • Review the AP subledger on a regular basis and make adjustments as necessary
  • Provide support and backup to the Accounts Receivable function
  • Assist in the preparation for the annual audit
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:


  • At least two years of related accounts payable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Dynamics GP 2018 preferred
  • Experience with SAP Concur (Payables and Expenses) preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, primarily Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks
  • Sensitivity in dealing with confidential information
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
  • Well organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt readily to change

Special Requirements:


  • Criminal background check;
  • Works a 37.5 hours work week, Monday through Friday and as needed after hours
  • Officebased position
  • Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the agency
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
  • Attendance at outside meetings and special events may be required from timetotime.
