Rothesay Netherwood School is an independent co-educational boarding and day school for students in Grades 6 to 12. Our RNS Camps Program runs a variety of camps and activities throughout the year.

We are looking for a casual housekeeper to help ensure the effective and efficient operations of our housekeeping team. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, be responsible for daily cleaning and maintaining designated buildings throughout the campus.


Job Goal:

To provide students with an alluring, sanitary, and natural environment to learn, and guarantee that full educational use of all school facilities is always available.

Duties and responsibilities:
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing

• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any companyrelated practices

Qualifications:

• Show high levels of honesty, integrity, and approachability
• Ability to stand for long periods and lifting as much as 50 lbs
• Able to work alone and in a team situation to achieve specified standards
