Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures.
  • Manage ADP payroll system, including: process payroll on a biweekly basis, manage onboarding process, process any payroll related changes, and ensure timely termination when necessary.
  • Maintain employee records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assists management with requests for contract associates for temporary assignments.
  • Conduct employee exit interviews to determine reasons for leaving the company.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide counsel and guidance to managers in terms of employment legislation.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Be an active participate on the safety committee and ensure employees are following the protocols, as set by the committee.
  • Assist with planning employee related events, and contribute quarterly to the employee newsletter.
Education & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in HR Management, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct human resources experience as an HR Generalist
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law and practice as it relates to the Canadian Labour Code, Employment Standards and relevant Human Rights legislation
  • High level of adaptability and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast paced environment;
  • Hands on experience with HRIS, experience with ADP is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products.
  • Posses high level of confidentiality, along with a good judgement and ability to make decisions.
  • Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken) is an asset.

Pay:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
