Description

Biathlon Saskatchewan seeks an experienced Provincial Head Coach to lead technical direction, training programs, club development, athlete development and broader sport development across the province. The coach reports to the Co-chairs of the Board of Directors and will work with clubs, athletes, and stakeholders to elevate biathlon performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee High Performance Team Development
• Develop provincial training programs
• Liaise for Saskatchewan Winter Games

The successful candidate has a passion for biathlon, collaborative coaching philosophy NCCP Competition Development or equivalent in biathlon related sports demonstrated positive coaching experience high-performance developing athletes strong technical expertise excellent communication leadership skills safety certification valid driver's license willingness travel manage staff volunteers contractors waxing ski service rifle tuning maintenance coordination ensure resources equipment available maintained tracked rental payments completed support budget planning program expenditures within approved limits supervise coordinate assistant coaches contractors volunteers required.
