What You'll Be Doing:


  • Ensure the HR & Scheduling System is customized and configured to the agreed upon specifications within the agreed timelines at the desired quality
  • Perform all system configurations, design, changes, analysis, testing, documentation, reporting, data management, process development and improvements, and parallel runs for optimal performance measures.
  • Understand stakeholder requests for overall strategy, technical capabilities and constraints, in order to identify key organizational priorities, solutions and make recommendations.
  • Review and evaluate configuration setup and all business intelligencereporting requirements. Carefully analyze, verify and validate accuracy of high volume data through a variety of reports and materials.
  • Ensure conversion is proceeding correctly, runs test scripts with various data to see how new or customized transactions process through the systems.
  • Develop transition strategies through detailed configuration analysis of systems and implement guidelines to affect successful transition outcomes. Utilize risk models, optimization systems and other analytic measures through the Ultipro systems.

What you need to know:


  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Scheduling and or HR Time and Attendance System Implementation and scheduling in a health care industry and unionized environment.
  • Advanced to Expert Level Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel with knowledge of data mining, Formulas, Pivot Tables, Macros.
  • Ability to breakdown and prioritize complex requirements into clear specifications.
  • Ability to comprehend HRIS system's internal policies, procedures, collective agreements and modules required.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations.
  • Able to leverage resources throughout the organization to achieve results.
  • Committed to excellence, continuous improvement and learning.
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
  • You must successfully pass a Criminal Records Check
