    Job Summary

    McKesson Canada's Biopharma and Provider Solutions (BPS) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing team in Mississauga. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will support BPS and the marketing team on a variety of initiatives related to conferences, branding, social media activity, development of marketing assets and customer-facing materials as well as day-to-day administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to support the execution of the marketing initiatives and the company's strategic objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote our services.
    • Support the coordination and execution of tradeshows, conferences, and other events to maximize brand visibility and generate leads.
    • Track and analyze marketing campaigns performance metrics, provide regular reports, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
    • Monitor user comments/reviews on Google My Business dashboard and escalate situations to business advisors.
    • Act as a marketing resource for Provider Solutions and Business Development in terms of conference needs and customer-facing activities (e.g., supplies of brochures, postcards, swag).
    • Provide assistance in tailoring PowerPoint presentations, including those for RFP (Request for Proposal) responses, to effectively communicate key message and enhance visual impact.
    • Collaborate on briefs and coordinate with internal graphics studio and external vendors to create marketing collateral.
    • Prepare and submit billing.
    • Contribute to social media activities and maintain digital calendar.
    • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks.
    • Complete other special projects as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in a life science, marketing, digital marketing and/or communications related field
    • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in marketing or healthcare
    • Strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge of graphic production
    • Relevant experience in social media
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

    Our Base Pay Range for this position

    $59,100 - $98,500
