- Maintain the functionality of labs and teaching equipment within the Center for Trades
- Support end users in trades-related areas, including automotive and heavy equipment scan tools, service information systems, diagnostic equipment with network applications, and trade-specific training software systems
- Provide senior-level support for endpoint devices and peripherals, including troubleshooting complex issues escalated from lower levels of support
- Provide technical assistance to staff and students, including software and hardware troubleshooting, basic audio-visual support in labs and classrooms, and computer and trades lab support covering hardware, networking, and software
- Assist staff and students during labs, including facilitating instructor lab needs and ensuring smooth operation of specialized software and hardware applications Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Education in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering/Automotives/Trades
- Strong analytical, planning and organization skills
- Understanding of basic networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, VLANs
- Understanding of basic hardware concepts including assembly and troubleshooting
