- Create, distribute, and present standard management reports to provide a clear and synthesized understanding of financial performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems, implementing standardized solutions across the area of responsibility and other finance functions.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure the overall integrity of financial data.
- Support multi-business unit process initiatives to drive efficiency and simplify ways of working.
- Proactively analyze key trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support the business teams in delivering against financial targets.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets by aligning targets with key business partners and setting departmental targets based on market dynamics, historical performance, and known investments.
- Support the onboarding and ongoing training of new financial analyses and methodologies under the guidance of the direct Manager.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience, demonstrating expertise in P&L management, business planning, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and interpreting data, particularly in Excel, to provide detailed insights and recommendations.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce, CPG, and Retail industries, including awareness of industry trends and dynamics.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing business environments and priorities.
- Familiarity with large data sets and experience with financial software such as OneStream and Tableau is considered an asset.
- Tech-savvy with fundamental and working knowledge of Excel; experience with other analytical tools is a plus.
- Nice to have designation in finance or related field.
