    PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age.

    PLASP operates in more than 240 schools providing before school, lunch, and after school programs and 30 full-day early learning and child care centres and six EarlyON locations for children from 0 – 6 years.

    Planning, developing, and implementing programs of stimulating age appropriate activities for groups of children. Activities will promote their physical, social, emotional and intellectual well-being, in accordance with the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA), How Does Learning Happen? (Budgeting and ordering food for the program, preparing nutritious breakfast and snacks while adhering to the guidelines of the Canada Food Guide, and in accordance with the rotational snack planner
    Supervising and training staff, Volunteers and Students on Placement (if applicable), by providing strong leadership, decision making and problem-solving skills and conducting regular performance appraisals
    Responsible for all administration for the program, including registration, record-keeping, health and safety monitoring and ordering of supplies
    Operating programs according to the Ministry of Education (MEDU) standards and ensures the CCEYA license is in good standing
    A minimum 3 years' experience in child care and community service organization (experience in supervision of staff preferred)
    Knowledge of the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA) and Ministry of Education Licensing requirements

    An ECE degree/diploma and be registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE) or have a Child Youth Worker/Care diploma (CYW/CYC) or Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) diploma.

    All health requirements (immunizations) to be met in accordance with the CCEYA and Medical Officer of Health
