Job summary
The Data Processing Clerk Reports To The Manager Of Client Services,Transfusion Medicine And Specialized Testing,
While Working Closely With The Section Managers And Technologists To Provide Accurate
And Timely Access Of Laboratory Data,
Both Within And Outside The Health Centre,
Including Timely Entry Of Maternal Serum Testing Patient Information/results
And Distribution Of Reports To Physicians And Other Institutions Within The Maritime Provinces.
Duties:
- Enters patient information into the Information System
- Answers incoming phone calls to laboratory – faxing results to physician's offices as requested.
- Maintains up-to-date address lists for physicians and referral institutions.
