Leading the newly created Release and Quality Assurance Practice / Strategy team, the Manager Release Management will build, develop, and lead a team who deliver the best quality solutions to our stakeholders using best practices in quality assurance and release management.

You will play a key role in the transformation of our platforms, practices, and technologies, as you lead your team to provide seamless support to our clients and partners.


Specifically, you will provide leadership in the areas of:
Release Program Development & Management

  • Establish scalable Release Management practice to support accelerated systems modernization programs
  • Create and evolve continuous release framework across development team supporting environment management, data refresh activities and continuous release of new test functions into preproduction environments.
  • Isolate, reproduce, manage, and maintain defects and test case databases, and verify fixes.
  • Conduct exploratory testing and risk analysis for complex features, e.g., those that span across platforms or teams.
Process Improvement

  • Seek automation opportunities and deliver efficiency and quality checks into the testing cycle with the goal of improving speed to market and quality.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce testing time and effort by automating repeatable tests.
  • Research, recommend, and implement new testing technologies and practices, such as incorporating machine learning.
  • Define and champion quality and testing best practices among development teams.
  • Enhance and maintain the test automation framework.
Collaboration & Partner Engagement

  • Actively engage program delivery, operations and external user teams in release management strategies, testing and validation including operational readiness testing for large programs
  • Collaborate and share information on quality control and standard release management process, with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipeline team, testing teams and testers, e.g., create and grow a community of practice. Support user acceptance testing conducted by business partners or end users.
  • Plan, create, execute, and automate test cases, working with business partners, developers, and other stakeholders.
