Description

***: Hand Finishing Personnel assists bindery machine operators with set up and run of items to be finished. Additionally, Hand Finishing Personnel complete hand work, packaging and delivery of product to next department or shipping.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Capable of standing for long durations
Attention to detail and quality consciousness are essential
Ability to read and understand instructions, follow procedures, and work with mínimal supervision
Strong manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
High motivation

REQUIREMENTS

Completion of secondary education and/or equivalent
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

SKILLS / ABILITIES

Customer Service oriented
Strong English communication skills
Able to read, understand and follow dockets
Strong hand dexterity and hand/eye coordination are essential
Efficient mathematical skills
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

and capable of standing for long durations

Able to work well in a team environment
Able to meet tight deadlines with limited supervision
