We are looking for a talented
Diagnostics and Modeling Specialist to join our team specializing in
Engineering for our Accelera by Cummins in
Mississauga
, ON / your remote home office.
- Access physical and Electrochemical characterization both In-situ and Ex-Situ of the MEA and its subcomponents. and participate in writing winning proposals to various government bodies.
- Develops techniques, protocols for exsitu characterization of MEA and subcomponents.
- Develop FMEA, FTA for MEA degradation and failure investigation including durability protocols.
- Interacts with stack team to develop robust test protocol for MEA degradation and failure investigation.
- Performs failure analysis of the GDL, MEA, Catalyst, bipolar plate for product improvements.
- Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes.
- Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training in relevant fields.
- Deep knowledge on the working principles of Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer products
- Understanding and working principles of microscopy like high resolution optical microscope, SEM (EDAX), TEM, sample prep for the same.
- Prior experience in a global matrix organization in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
Education/Experience
- Advanced degree required (PhD or Master) in Electrochemistry or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
