Are you an organized, conscientious individual who enjoys working as part of a team? We are looking to add a new member to our Vancouver office, working full-time in-office as a Legal Office Clerk.


About the Job:


Our Legal Office Clerk will work closely with our Legal Office Assistant to provide general office support and some administrative functions for the firm.


Responsibilities include:


  • Working closely with legal assistants and paralegals to support general administrative work including photocopying, scanning, closing files, binder preparation.
  • General office maintenance and upkeep. Including tidying of boardrooms and kitchen.
  • Assisting with the ordering and maintenance of inventory and office supplies.
  • Covering reception for lunch breaks and absences.
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing mail, couriers and resulting responses.
  • Continual learning and keeping up to date on changes.
  • Assisting with other duties as required.

Pay:
$38,000 annually

Experience:
This is an entry level position. Exposure and/or previous experience in an office environment is preferred, but not required.


Education:
Previous office work or volunteer experience is beneficial.


Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); organization and interpersonal skills; high attention to detail, the ability to multitask and prioritize.

You use logic and have your fair share of common sense. You understand the importance of exercising discretion and confidentiality and can adapt to dynamic situations. This position requires 5 days per week (Monday to Friday during business hours) in our downtown Vancouver office.
