Strongfield Environmental Solutions is recruiting Environmental Technicians for the 2023 season. If you enjoy working outdoors and have a desire to start or expand your work experience in the quickly evolving and highly innovative world of environmental solutions, then we have work ready and waiting for you

Our technicians provide beginning-to-end vegetation management and reclamation services via state-of-the-art equipment including spray trucks, UTVs, tractors and Drones.


If you have a valid driver's license and are willing to travel, we provide competitive wages, including free accommodations and a living allowance while on the road.

We try our best to assign employees to projects near their home whenever possible whenever that's preferred.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's Licence. Current abstract must be obtained if hired.
  • Standard Oilfield Tickets (First Aid, H2S, CSTS, WHMIS, TDG).
  • Industrial Applicators Certificate considered an asset.
  • Able to operate small machinery, UTV's and pull trailers.
  • Drone Pilot Licence from Transport Canada considered an asset.
  • Agriculture or Environmental background considered an asset.
  • Two years of Environmental studies considered an asset.
  • Plant species identification and soil classification an asset.
  • Ability to keep neat and accurate records.
  • Understanding of the Township and Range Survey System
  • Understanding of GPS systems
  • Drug and Alcohol screening will be required prior to employment
  • Computer experience required including Microsoft and Google Applications

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Regina, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
