Trade Routes is searching for a talented and professional Outreach Coordinator to maintain the outreach activities, international and national network building, partnerships, and opportunities for Canadian musicians.
This position will be supporting the Trade Routes management and development team. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner and able to adapt to a fast-changing environment.You will represent the company and work with the management team to develop and implement initiatives that increase company visibility within the live music community.
You need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community-driven to take on this exciting role. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player. Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.Experience in an administrative setting with demonstrated and computer skills is a requirement. Bilingualism in French is an asset. Music booking & event production is also an asset.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research, create, schedule, and monitor multiple partnership and outreach initiatives.
- Create strategic relationships with partners.
- Research, build and help maintain contact databases.
- Maintain the outreach activities, international and national network building, partnerships
- Research and maintain international trade network development.
- Develop opportunities for Canadian musicians.
- Disseminate pertinent information to publicists, booking agents, publishers, labels, etc.
- Manage and coordinate domestic and international event production
- Manage and coordinate meetings and travel logistics
- Liaison for artists, managers, publicists and booking agents, managers, etc.
- Daytoday administration
- Daytoday tour advancement
Qualifications:
- Related work experience
- Post-Secondary Education in Arts Administration, Performing Arts and/or Music Industry
- Knowledge of the performing arts, music industry and/or entertainment, arts and culture industry
- Outstanding relationshipmanagement skills, including the ability to work closely and
- Savvy communications and research skills
- Adequate knowledge of Word, Excel, CRM software, etc. with the ability to quickly learn new software
- Bilingualism an asset
Salary:
$25.00-$28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
COVID-19 considerations:
We are currently working remotely for the time being.
